Maksymilian proved he could be cool as a cucumber in front of a very large excited crowd at the Washington International Horse Show for the $25,000 Grand Prix Dressage Challenge. 

In the Thursday night Grand Prix class, Jane and Mak received a 68.333% and finished 2nd place behind Courtney King and Idocus.  Mak was on his game and behaved like a grown up while he was in the ring, despite the boistrous cheering fans during WIHS "Barn Night" where prizes are awarded to groups based on best enthusiasm and spirit. Mak seemed to enjoy the attention. For the Friday night Grand Prix Freestyle, the pair made a slight mistake in their first set of one tempis but pulled out a great second set of flawless one tempis and bold extensions.
